Deulass (pronounced deux + lass) simply means "two girls." Deulass is a contemporary women’s sportswear label based in New York City and was co-founded in 2006 by Laura Tawes & Karri Files. The two lasses met in college at Parsons The New School for Design and graduated together in 2004. They dabbled at the dream of launching a collection for years while gaining experience through various internships and jobs in the fashion industry. The pair began their first collection on their apartment floors in Gramercy and Chelsea respectively. They got their foot in the door by standing in line at a Henri Bendel open call in 2007. The lasses were 1 of 3 labels picked up that season.

Deulass bridges the gap of youthful chic trendsetters and luxury seeking sophisticates. The designers work with quality fabrics in natural fibers to offer an edge to sophisticated silhouettes. The Deulass Lass is a socialite and a catalyst of style. The aim is purely postmodernism executed through women’s apparel.
